Getting personal EMF protection does not mean you can use EMF emitting devices for ever.
The personal protection will allow you to be exposed for longer, but the symptoms will come if you push it too much. For example, if you feel headaches after 10 minutes of using the PC (make sure it is wired without any RF emitting devices) , then you put the hat and you can now work for 30 minutes with out an headache, but you then feel changes in the hart rate after 25 minutes, then you should stop after 20 minutes and try to find ways to reduce your exposure from the computer.

Until you manade to reduce the exposure from your PC environment, playing video games is not a good idea. Reading about EMF and RF might be more productive and will give you more knowledge of how to get better.
Regarding the prices of the personal protection products, the reason for that is that the prices of the fabrics is much more expensive than regular fabrics.

If you are sensitive to EMF (RF especially) grounding might help to reduce symptoms, allow you more exposure before the symptoms appear, and will allow faster recovery. But it will not mean you can use the smart phone for ever without symptoms.
