RF Blocking effect – Fabric’s RF blocking effect = 27-37dB according to the manufacturer’s datasheet. (Frequencies of 1GHz to 10GHz).
The fabric was tested by us and showed a good RF-blocking effect.
Our tests showed that the RF blocking effect was at least ~99%/-20dB (using CORNET ED88T in front of a DECT Phone 1.8GHz in a special testing cage 10/2018.
In most of the tests, we have seen even better outcomes.

The fabric was tested again and again and showed good results even after more than 15 laundry cycles in a washing machine at 40 degrees Celsius, with soap.

Screening/Blocking Tests

• Please note that the following outcomes are for the range that was tested according to our ability or the manufacturer’s ability. The fabric will most likely reduce RF exposure far below and above these frequencies.
• EMF Screening tests that were done by the manufacturer: 1GHz-10GHz, 24dB- 37dB.

• The product is the Lining (insert) only & should be stitched to an existing hat.
• This size will fit most people. If hat is too big, you can pinch it to fit your head (see picture below)
• The White color side should be against the skin. This side is with hidden stitches
• The Gray side should be outside, against the hat you are using. This side has visible stitches.
• You can use it also without a hat, for example for sleeping or inside the house, but then the stitches on the gray side of it will be visible.
