Usage

Limitations

]]> The S190 is a China-made RF Blocking fabric.  The S190 fabric has a composition of cotton, polyester, and Stainless Steel metal fibers.
It is a DOUBLE LAYER WOVEN  190 g fabric. One side/layer (the Gray side) includes stainless steel fibers. The other side/layer has no steel in it.

About the S190 RF EMF/EMR Blocking Fabric

RF Blocking effect – Fabric’s RF blocking effect = 27-37dB according to the manufacturer’s datasheet. (Frequencies of 1GHz to 10GHz).
The fabric was tested by us and showed a good RF-blocking effect.
Our tests showed that the RF blocking effect was at least ~99%/-20dB (using CORNET ED88T in front of a DECT Phone 1.8GHz in a special testing cage 10/2018.
In most of the tests, we have seen even better outcomes.

The fabric does not block ELF magnetic fields from electric cabinets/equipment and power lines).
The fabric was tested again and again and showed good results even after more than 15 laundry cycles in a washing machine at 40 degrees Celsius, with soap.

  • Use on walls as a cheap RF Protection to block RF coming in from neighbors and from the street.

Screening/Blocking Tests

  • Please note that the following outcomes are for the range that was tested according to our ability or the manufacturer’s ability. The fabric will most likely reduce RF exposure far below and above these frequencies.
  • EMF Screening tests that were done by the manufacturer: 1GHz-10GHz, 24dB- 37dB.

  • Our Demo EMF screening tests between 300 MHz and 6000 MHz in %(dB):
    • Test done at  05/12/2024
    • 0 degrees- AVR=99.956%(-34.98dB), Low=99.85%(-28.5dB), Max=99.99%(-43.8dB)
    • 90 degrees – AVR=99.97%(-37.52dB), Low=99.86%(-28.8dB), Max=99.99944%(-52.5dB)
    • RF Blocking ability is largely dependent on the design of the application.

About the RF(EMF) Protection Lining for Hats

  • The product is the Lining (insert) only & should be stitched to an existing hat.
  • You can also use it without a hat, for example, for sleeping or inside the house, but then the stitches on the outer side of it will be visible.
  • This size will fit most people. If the hat is too big, you can pinch it to fit your head (see picture below)
  • Reduce users’ exposure to Radio Frequency(RF) coming from above and sides. If used correctly, it can ease EHS symptoms like headaches, brain fog, memory issues, fatigue, and other EHS symptoms.

About the RF(EMF) Protection Lining for Hats

  • The White color side should be against the skin. This side is with hidden stitches
  • The Gray side should be outside, against the hat you are using. This side has visible stitches.
  • You can use it also without a hat, for example for sleeping or inside the house, but then the stitches on the gray side of it will be visible.
  • Reduce user’s exposure to Radio Frequency(RF) coming from above, and sides
  • Code – BC190
  • Fabric – S190 – RF BLOCKING FABRIC
  • Fabric – Double Layer/side, one side with metal fibers (cotton, polyester, and Stainless Steel Metal) the other with none.
  • Fabric’s RF blocking effect = 27-37dB according to manufacturer datasheet. (Frequencies of 1GHz to 10GHz).
  • The fabric was tested by us and showed a very good RF Blocking effect even after more than 15 laundry cycles in a washing machine in 40 degrees cycles, with soap.
  • Our tests showed that the RF blocking effect was at least ~96%/-14dB (in most of the tests we have seen even better outcomes).
  • The lining should only be stitched to your own hat.
