About the LED/LCD Screen Protection Film

Not for blue light, not if you still use wireless and mobile devices!

The LCD/LED Screen Protection Film for EHS people is a simple small size RF blocking film that is cut down to several possible sizes and then fit by you to your  PC/TV  screen.
The idea here is to stop all the medium frequency Electric fields coming out from the LCD/LED screen from hitting the face and eyes of the user.
These EMFs can cause some EHS(Electromagnetic hyper-sensitive) people a burning sensation on their skin and eyes.
If installed currently, the RF-blocking film will stop the Electric fields coming out from the monitor, from hitting your face and eyes.
This improvisation product allows us to solve a difficult problem at a small cost.
Most effect will be on PC external screen, less on laptops(because there are other emissions in this case)  and TVs(because of distance).

Personal note – I myself, use this film on my screens, during day time ( I have 2X24″ screens, 1X27″, and 1X40″ screens in my house with this protection), and it allows me to work more time in front of the screen.

Sizes

The film is cut by hand from a big roll.
Roll wide is 152cm (59″), and we will cut and send prices in 40cm, 50cm, 60cm, 70cm,90cm lengths.
You can then glue them to the screen, cut them, and use the excessive material for other uses or screens.
Usually, screen sizes are according to the following table:

  1. 19″ screen will need 50X40cm film
  2. 24″, will need 60X40cm
  3. 27″ will need 70X40cm
  4. 32″ will need 90X50cm
  5. 37″ will need 90X55cm
  6. 40″ will need 100X58cm
  7. 50″ will need 120X65cm
  8. 55″ will need 125X70cm
  9. 65″ will need 145X85cm
  10. 75″ will need 168X96cm, is too big to cover with a horizontal piece of film, and will require up to cut a piece of 100cm wide and 170cm long (special order required, cost of around 2 linear meters).

 

Limitations

  • Dim the screen brightness, 50% of the light passes (35% of light since 01/2017).
  • The film is cut by hand.
  • Some reflections are visible. To reduce reflection, the user needs to ensure there is no light source behind him (in front of the monitor).
    In addition, turning the screens’ brightness to 100% will help(in some LED screens this will also help to reduce magnetic field emission from the screen.

  • The film is cut by me to a bigger size than needed, in order to have an extra film.
    In some cases (not all) there will be stamps on the lower part of the film.
    The lower part of the film should be cut off by the user when he attaches the film to the screen.
    the user needs to make sure the stamps are on the lower part, which is not covering the screen, and then cut it off (please see picture below).

Installation

Before installation – To reduce reflection, the user needs to make sure there is no light source behind him (in front of the monitor).
  1. Glue the top of the film to the screen using sellotape
  2. If there is any stamping on the film,
    make sure you glue the film in such a way that the stamps will be out of the screen,
    and would be cut off in the next step.
  3. Cut down to the required screen size(to cover the entire visible screen).
  4. Glue to the screen using a sellotape.
  5. Clean the film using a screen cleaning cloth and liquid.
  6. In most, LED Screens is recommended to put the Brightness on
    100% to reduce ELF exposure and light flicker from the screen.
    Use an ELF meter to verify.
